The Number of Millionaire rises

Did you know that the number of millionaires worldwide increased by six percent last year. The biggest gains were seen in China, India, and Brazil.

Assets that are held overall by the world’s millionaires rose up to 40.7 trillion dollars!

The number of people who had at least 30 million dollars in net assets rose by almost 9 percent in 2007.
The number of net worth of the individuals with at least 1 million dollars in net assets is continually increasing. The greatest wealth is created in the emerging markets of India China and Brazil.

The number of millionaires in India alone jumped by a whopping 22.7 percent! In china we saw 20.3 percent increase and in Brazil we experienced 19.1 percent increases.

Next the greatest increases followed in the Middle East by 15.6 percent, Eastern Europe 14.3 pcerent and Latin America in 12.2 percent.
